Grief Share

Grief Share is a support ministry for those who are enduring the loss of a loved one, has experienced a traumatic event, and adjusting to the reorientation of life. It is a confidential group setting, encouraging, learning, and supporting each other in understanding and adjusting to emptiness and disconnection.

Handyman Ministry

This ministry touches people in need not only in our church but in the community.  This group has helped clean up following area disasters, provides lawn maintenance/clean-up, and home repairs for the handicapped and elderly.  They are also available for transportation to doctor appointments as needed by senior adults.

Family Life Center

FBC seeks to be a resource for Christian values and efforts within the community, offering times of fellowship, growth, and entertainment.

Open Gym is an opportunity for Adult Men to enjoy healthy competition in a Christian environment. Check the Church Calendar

FBC is a congregation involved in the community in an effort to not only be a good neighbor but to assist in meeting multiple mission purposes and needs.

Local Missions

FBC Local Missions Committee 

Provides humanitarian assistance to those in need for church members and community. We support local outreach ministries as: White Christmas, Angel Tree, Community Thanksgiving Dinners, Back Pack ministry, Blessing Bags for the homeless.   

Scholarships helps students to continue their educational growth through scholarships to universities and colleges of their choice.
Supports mission trips in our country and around the world.
"Hem of His Garment" – the White Oak Ecumenical Mission Center - First Baptist provides financial and physical support for this local interdenominational organization.  The “Hem” gives financial aid, food, and clothing to those in need in our community.
