Our senior adult ministry is one of the more active in the congregation, providing service projects and consistent fellowship.

JOY Ministry ("Just Older Youth") Group

First Saturdays

Meets monthly for a time of devotion, entertainment, fellowship and  sharing.  Each gathering includes a special theme, and a potluck dinner. We also have JOY/Senior Trips which are fellowship trips to various North Carolina attractions and places of interest.

A fellowship group that works on various crafts together. It is a time of devotion, fellowship, and sharing.

"Silver Sneakers" Walking Group - Mondays & Fridays, 9:00 am

An energetic group that seeks to stay fit through exercise in Family Life Center.

Excursions and Trips

Monthly opportunities for day time trips to points of interest.

Handyman Ministry

This ministry touches people in need not only in our church but in the community.  This group has helped clean up following area disasters, provides lawn maintenance/clean-up, and home repairs for the handicapped and elderly.  They are also available for transportation to doctor appointments as needed by senior adults.

Grief Share

Grief Share is a support ministry for those who are enduring the loss of a loved one, have experienced a traumatic event, and adjusting to the reorientation of life. It is a confidential group setting, encouraging, learning, and supporting each other in understanding and adjusting to emptiness and disconnection.
